Abstract:
Analyses the history and family background of the principals of the Nadia Corporation, a once successful family-owned business that is now losing profitability and suffering from family conflicts. After the forced semi-retirement of the father (the founder and entrepreneur), the heirs have difficulty in dealing with the succession issue. It illustrates how family relationships are transferred into the working environment. The themes of leadership, interpersonal relationships, group dynamics and its effect on business success and decision making processes, are subjects of discussion.
